‘Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labour in vain.Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.’– Psalm 127:1 It was Floyd McClung – author of works like ‘The Father Heart of God’ – who said in his book, ‘Follow’, ‘Church is not a templelike building to attend on Sundays, but a community of revolutionary people who make Jesus the Lord of their whole lives and live to accomplish his mission. April Prayer News “See! The winter is past; the rains are over and gone. Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come, the cooing of doves is heard in our land. Arise, come, my darling; my beautiful one, come with me.” Song of Songs 2: 11 – 13 Winter seems to be holding on a little here on the Isle of Arran. We are still seeing snow on the mountains, and the occasional flurry at lower ground. And yet, as Albert Camus said, ‘Once

Prayer News – February 2023 “So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet—a vast army.” – Ezekiel 37: 10 The Isle of Arran has had a few storms blowing through on a reasonably consistent basis over the past year. This, of course, brings with it the challenges to infrastructure and supply lines, to transport and occasionally makes you wonder if you want to step out the door. Yet, on the other hand, there is nothing quite so invigorating as the power of the natural world making its
