Donations by Regular Payments

Setting up a regular gift helps us with our planning as it guarantees a regular income. If you wish to give on a regular basis, please set up a standing order.

There are two ways a standing order can be set up. Either visit your bank branch and they will set up the arrangements for you or use your bank’s internet banking facility. In both cases you will need Sannox Christian Centre’s account details. Please contact our office for the details.

Single Donations

If you wish to send your donation by post please send a cheque to Sannox Christian Centre, Sannox, KA27 8JD.

Should you prefer to donate by bank transfer, the details you need are the same as those for making regular donations above.

Gift Aid

UK tax payers can allow charities to claim back basic rate tax on their donations by completing a Gift Aid Declaration.

You can do this on-line or you can print one out to fill in and send.

There are two points to note about making donations under Gift Aid:

  • You must have paid at least as much in Income Tax or Capital Gains Tax in that tax year as tax which can be reclaimed.
  • If you make a donation under Gift Aid and pay Income Tax at the higher or additional rate, you can receive the additional tax relief due to you. Include all your Gift Aid donations on your Self-Assessment tax return or ask HMRC to adjust your tax code.

Thank you for your donation – it is very much appreciated.

  • I understand I must pay an amount of UK tax at least equal to the tax the charity reclaims on my donation in the tax year.
