Dear Friends of Sannox,
After a winter’s work on Dundarroch we are able to turn our attention to using the wonderfully refurbished premises!
We are holding a workshop led by Andy Hall entitled “Tuning in to the sound of Heaven” from Friday 31 July to Sunday 2 August 2015.
The workshop will start around 7 pm on the Friday evening, however some may meet for dinner beforehand, and finish after prayers on Sunday afternoon so that people can get the 4.40 ferry back to the mainland. Andy will be leading sessions on the Friday evening and Saturday then the workshop will continue with prepared exercises for us to practice hearing the voice of God on the Sunday.
So if you are coming to the course we need to know now so that accommodation and meals can be planned. Please tell us if you’re coming as it makes life more difficult if you just turn up – welcome as you are!
Tuning in to the sound of heaven
This workshop will cover the following areas:
• Hearing the voice of God
• How do I receive something from the spiritual realm
• Recognising a prompting of the Spirit
• Angels as the messengers of God
• The God who speaks in dreams
• Understanding the mysteries of God
• Prophecy for today
The workshop will be a mixture of teaching, quiet reflection, worship and activation exercises
About Andy Hall:
Andy serves on the leadership team at The Lighthouse Church in Troon. Andy is originally from London. Married to Yvonne they have two grown up daughters, they live in West Kilbride on the Ayrshire coast. After graduating from London Bible College in 1986 Andy worked with Youth With A Mission (YWAM); serving in evangelism, church planting and training project all over the UK. From 1997 he worked as the National Evangelist for YWAM England following four years as the director of an inter-church Bible School in Guildford, Surrey, which aimed to train up pioneer evangelists and church planters.
The family moved to Scotland in 2001 when Andy was appointed as National Director for the work of YWAM in that nation. In 2007 he stepped down from this role and out of YWAM to concentrate on a full time teaching and preaching ministry alongside churches and their leadership teams.
Andy is the founding director of the Equipped to Live Network (ETLN). ETLN aims to equip, encourage and mobilise Christians to be an effective mission force in their communities. He travels widely in the UK and internationally in this teaching and training role. Andy is also the chairman of Leaders Together for Scotland – a gathering of key Charismatic & Pentecostal leaders in Scotland. Along with Yvonne he serves as Scottish Coordinator for Love After Marriage a new ministry to strengthen Christian Marriages. Andy is a Board member of Sannox Christian Centre
