March 2021 – Prayer News

“For great is your love, higher than the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies.  Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, and let your glory be over all the earth.”  [Ps 108:4-5]

We serve a mighty, faithful God, for whom nothing is impossible!  It is a blessing and privilege to be part of His plans and purposes – wherever we live, but also for the island of Arran, for the nation of Scotland and the nations.

So give thanks……

  • for all our faithful supporters, especially the Friends of Sannox, for continuing to pray faithfully and to give faithfully, even as we are for the moment unable to gather together at Sannox;
  • for the local volunteers who have started to lay paths around the renovated church – pray they will complete that work safely and to the highest standards;
  • that, despite the current restrictions, God is still at work ‘behind the scenes’ to ensure that the vision for Sannox is fulfilled.

Please pray:

  • for favour on current grant applications towards the cost of the Manse renovations;
  • for the Worship Team as they build relationships, develop worship and plan for the time they can ‘sing the song of the Lord’ at Sannox;
  • for the plans to instal fibre broadband to enable live streaming from the Church – that this work may be carried out very soon;
  • that, as we look forward to the restrictions being lifted, folk will start to make enquiries and book stays at Sannox, even if they are provisional at this stage;
  • for God’s healing touch on Margaret Lane, Director, whose ill-health means she is still not able to carry out her role and responsibilities;
  • for the Advisors, that when required they will provide sound advice to the Board of Directors;
  • for the Friends of Sannox – that there will a good attendance at the next online gathering on Thursday evening 25 March;
  • for a good attendance, a strong sense of God’s presence and that all the technology will work smoothly at our next Prayer gathering at 8.00pm on Monday 1 March. The log in details are below and we will open up at 7.45pm.

The Sannox Prayer

“Today I choose to stand in this place you have called me to,
And I declare that You are a Mighty God, the Creator of Heaven and Earth.
Your Kingdom shall endure and will never be shaken.
Open the windows of Heaven and pour out Your promised blessings in this generation.
Revive us, restore us and heal our land.
Thank you for going before us to open the way and remove all obstacles.
Increase our Faith, stir up Hope and keep us grounded and walking in Love.
Thank you that You are creating a dwelling place for God and man here – in Sannox, on Arran, for the nations.
Amen”

We bless you, in the name of Jesus, to receive all that the Father has for you and thank you for your continuing support of His work at SCC.  Be blessed and protected in all you do for the Kingdom, in the mighty and beautiful name of Jesus.
