November Prayer News

November Prayer News‘Will you not revive us again that your people may rejoice in You?
Show us your unfailing love, Lord, and grant us your salvation.’
Psalm 85:6

The late Tim Keller, after many years of studying God’s revival action in the past, concludes that:

“Real revival is the intensification of the ordinary operations of the Holy Spirit. The ordinary operations of the Holy Spirit are conviction, conversion, assurance, and sanctification. When those operations are intensified across a church, denomination, city, or country, you’ve got revival.”

In other words, we are praying and looking to God to do what he ordinarily does by his Spirit, but with a desire that he would increase his work among us for His glory and in the face of our desperate need to see our churches refreshed, and our communities – our island – become aware of the power and presence of God.  There are no guarantees of when and how God will move but surely, we seek him for the glory of God and the salvation of our nations?

At Sannox during November, and in other places around the island, we will be coming together to pray through Psalm 85 – a great revival psalm – to call on God for his aid.  The daily readings, reflections and prayer prompts are available as a pdf at this link : https://www.sannox.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/30-days-of-revival-prayer.pdf

If you are unable to view the link, the package can be found on our website or on the Sannox Facebook page. Please download the package and join us in worship and prayer.

The Sannox Prayer

“Today I choose to stand in this place you have called me to,
And I declare that You are a Mighty God, the Creator of Heaven and Earth.
Your Kingdom shall endure and will never be shaken.
Open the windows of Heaven and pour out Your promised blessings in this generation.
Revive us, restore us and heal our land.
Thank you for going before us to open the way and remove all obstacles.
Increase our Faith, stir up Hope and keep us grounded and walking in Love.
Thank you that You are creating a dwelling place for God and man here – in Sannox, on Arran, for the nations.
Amen”

We bless you in the name of Jesus, to receive all that the Father has for you, and we thank you for your continuing support of His work at SCC.  Be blessed and protected in all you do for the Kingdom, in the mighty and beautiful name of Jesus.
