Burn 24/7 Weekend
We had our second Burn 24/7 weekend from the 5 to 7 May 2017. This is a time when we meet for a free-flowing time of worship starting on the Friday evening with the main time being 10 am to 10 pm on the Saturday.
We were blessed with amazing weather and had people coming from many parts of Scotland – a group from Lighthouse Church in Troon, a group from Stevenston High Kirk, people from Kirriemuir, Edinburgh, West Kilbride, etc and local people from Arran.
The musicians took turns to lead worship on guitar, drums, keyboard, fiddle and accordion, we had weaving going on and there were art materials for anyone who wanted to express their worship in paints. Flags were waved as well! At one point we had a group singing and weaving outside the church and a group singing inside the church at the same time.
Sannox Christian Centre is a place of worship and prayer and we want to see worship and prayer happening all the time – welcoming the Spirit of God and lifting up His name. Having our hosts on site leading the daily prayers is an important part of this.
So look out for the next Burn 24/7 event and make sure you are there – it’s a wonderful time. Sign up to be a Friends of Sannox so you get the monthly prayer and news letter and check the web site.
Below are a number of photos from the event to give a flavour of the weekend.
God bless
