“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.” [Ps 107:1 & 136:1] Scripture frequently reminds and encourages us to give thanks to the Lord, for a whole host of reasons – not least because He is good, and His love endures forever. We need to hang on to that truth as the finish line to this pandemic seems to come tantalisingly closer, only to recede again into the distance following yet another forecast of the time it will take to get on top of it, even as the roll out of the vaccine gathers pace.
