Shaped for Revival Weekend – A Review

Shaped for Revival Weekend 17-18th May 2013

Andy Hall did it again!  He raised the bar for us all and challenged us to believe God has a purpose for each of our lives.

He challenged us to rebuke the lies we believe about ourselves and break free from the limitations these have placed on our potential.

So, how are we Shaped for Revival?

We each are a unique, one off, created masterpiece.  Each of us complex beings made for a Revival Destiny to release the Kingdom of Heaven all around us.

Ministry motivational gifting, as outlined in Ephesians Ch4, are apportioned to each of us according to God’s Grace.   By using Andy’s simple questionnaire and tool we identified how we are each equipped and called to serve the Church.  Not in hierarchy but as servants.

Andy showed us from the example of biblical characters such as Saul/Paul how our personality is fixed yet how our character can be changed.  He said that our churches should reflect the people within them and not impose their shape on them.

He challenged us to Redeem any negative experiences by embracing difficult times as times of learning and preparing.

We left refreshed and fully encouraged to plough up our own fallow spiritual ground.  Not to let past discouragements hold us back from seeking God’s fullest purposes for our lives.

By helping us grow into the shape He intended for us we hope to see ourselves fit together and value the diversity of God’s people around us.

Andy is planning another weekend in early October and I highly recommend joining us for this.
